Introducing the Brodhead Area Children’s Klub (B.A.C.K), a local club for students in 6th through 8th grade. This is a safe and inclusive space for youth to spend time with their friends while increasing their sense of belonging. Through strengthening healthy coping strategies that lead to resilience in the face of life’s ups and downs.
Using the evidence based Sources of Strength Framework B.A.C.K. staff and volunteers will engage students through art/crafts, games, activities and homework help. The goal of each session is to develop healthy coping strategies and social skills, building resilience within each student for dealing with life’s challenges..
Coinciding with early release days, youth club meeting will be held in October , December, February and May from 1pm to 3pm at the Brodhead Middle School. Forms can be returned to the Better Brodhead office at 2602 First Center Avenue,
or scanned and emailed to youthcenter@betterbrodhead.org
