Positive environments help all youth thrive. However, LGBTQ+ youth are more likely than their heterosexual, cisgender peers to experience negative health outcomes. Families, educators, and medical professionals must have access to resources to help ensure that LGBTQ+ youth feel safe, protected, and supported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Parents<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finding out your child is gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender might come as a shock, however rejection can be devasting for a youth. You may have your own stereotypes to dismantle through educating yourself. What your child needs most from you is your love, acceptance, and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
