ASIST Mental Health Training

Better Brodhead has received a federal grant to implement mental health training within Green and Lafayette Counties. One of the training sessions we are hosting is called ASIST.

ASIST stands for applied suicide intervention skills training. This is a 2-day advanced suicide first aid training designed for people who have the potential to deal with someone in a suicide crisis. This training uses a life-assisting intervention model that contributes to developing a suicide-safer community.

This training will be held on May 4th and 5th from 8:30-4:30 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brodhead. For any questions, please reach out to
