Narcan is a medication that rapidly reverses the effects of overdoses. Narcan is widely used by medical personnel and other first responders. People in the community can be trained to administer Narcan to anyone if an overdose is suspected.
Better Brodhead partners with the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW) to offer a Narcan training at least twice a year. Amelia Lyman from ARCW presents the Narcan training. Those in attendance receive a free Narcan kit.
