This event was a great success! The event was organized by the Better Brodhead Bilingual Community Service Coordinator, Dilcia Varela, and was attended by over 60 people. There were presentations by Dr. Julio Rodriguez on the safe use of prescription drugs; Carlos Rivera on Addiction and Recover, and Pastor Samuel Torrez on Recovery and Hope. Green County Public Health nurses were on hand to offer vaccinations. Families brought food to share, and children were treated with face painting, coloring sheets, and a pinata.
