Recap of the 2017 Community Supper
Better Brodhead hosted the 4th annual community supper on Thursday, Feb. 23. This was a complimentary, family friendly event for all Brodhead area residents.
Guest speaker, Matt Calvert, spoke on the importance of involving youth in the local community. Matt is a Youth Development Professor with the University of Wisconsin-Extension. He focuses on developing programs that create meaningful roles for youth in community leadership and decision-making.
Matt also leads the Extension team “Engaging Young People in Sustaining Communities, Families, and Farms” which identifies strategies for communities to attract and incorporate youth and young adults.
